  16 <p>This removes a package version from the registry, deleting its
  17 entry and removing the tarball.</p>
  18 <p>The package parameter must be defined.</p>
  19 <p>Only the first element in the package parameter is used.  If there is no first
  20 element, then npm assumes that the package at the current working directory
  21 is what is meant.</p>
  22 <p>If no version is specified, or if all versions are removed then
  23 the root package entry is removed from the registry entirely.</p>
